Edit your storefront profile
Your storefront's name, web address, country, timezone, buyer email language, visibility, written profile and branding — all in Kitchen's Settings.
Published
Everything a buyer reads about you — the name at the top of your storefront, the story under it, your opening hours and your colours — is edited in one place: Settings in Kitchen.
Where the settings live
Opening Settings lands you on Identity. The sidebar beside it holds three groups:
- Storefront — Identity, Profile, Pickup locations, Custom orders, Branding, Domains.
- Account — Account & profile, Appearance, Security & sessions, Notifications.
- Team — Team & roles, which opens its own screen.
Below them sit two links out of Settings: Library and Recently deleted.
Each area saves on its own, so a half-finished Profile never blocks a change to your name.
Identity — your name, your address, your basics
Display name is your storefront name. It is shown across your storefront, receipts and buyer messages, so it is the one field a buyer meets everywhere.
Public address is your address on Pantryk — the label in front of .pantryk.shop.
Kitchen checks whether the one you type is free while you type it and offers
alternatives when it is taken.
Country is read-only. It is fixed by the market your storefront trades in, and it is also the currency your prices, orders and payouts are in, so it cannot change once your storefront exists. Contact support if it is wrong.
Timezone is the clock your drop times are entered and reported in. Changing it never moves the drops you have already scheduled — it only re-anchors future ones.
Buyer email language is the language of the emails your buyers receive: order confirmations, pickup reminders, receipts and login codes. Kitchen itself stays in English whichever you pick.
Visibility is the switch between Live (buyers can find and order from your storefront) and Hidden (your storefront is private, and existing links show a closed page).
Before you can publish
While your storefront is hidden, Identity carries a short checklist above the sections with four requirements:
- Confirm your email.
- Add a pickup location.
- Add at least one product.
- Turn on a payment option.
Going Live stays disabled until all four are met, and Kitchen names the next open step rather than making you hunt for it. Nothing here is ticked by hand — each row is read from your storefront as it really is.
Profile — what buyers read
The Profile area is the written content on your public storefront, in the order a buyer meets it.
- About — a Tagline, the one memorable line shown under your name, and a Story of a few short paragraphs.
- Business hours — when your kitchen is open for pickups and replies. A day you are closed says so in words.
- Business details — legal name, legal address, org number and VAT number. Fill any of them in and they appear as Seller information on your public storefront.
- FAQ — question-and-answer pairs you can reorder or remove.
Profile saves as one document: the bar at the bottom counts the fields you changed, and an hours row that does not make sense blocks the save until you fix it.
Branding — colours and images
Branding is the look of your storefront, with a live preview beside it.
- Theme — a ready-made palette. A palette your plan does not include shows a lock and says why.
- Custom colours — your own brand colour as a hex value, if you would rather not use a preset.
- Brand assets — a Logo (a square mark, at least 256×256 px, shown in your storefront header), a Cover photo (a wide banner, at least 1600×600 px, the hero at the top of your storefront) and an optional Avatar.
- Contrast — a readability check on the palette you chose. It is informational and never blocks a save.
The neighbours
Three areas sit in the same Storefront group but answer different questions: Pickup locations (where buyers collect their orders), Custom orders (the doors, notice and quote defaults for bespoke work) and Domains, which is where a subdomain override or a web address of your own is connected.
