Pause or close your storefront

A quiet month costs nothing. How to take your storefront offline for a while, put it back, or close it for good — and what happens to your records.

A quiet stretch costs you nothing

There is nothing to cancel. Pantryk charges a fee on orders that are paid online, and nothing at all between drops — no monthly fee, and no limit on how many products or drops you keep. A month with no drop in it costs you nothing, so there is no reason to close a storefront just because you are taking a break.

If you want to stop taking orders for a while, there are two quieter options before closing anything: schedule no drops, or hide the storefront entirely.

Take your storefront offline for a while

Settings → Identity → Visibility has two cards, and exactly one of them is active:

  • Live — buyers can find and order from your storefront.
  • Hidden — your storefront is private. Buyers cannot find it, and anyone who opens an existing link sees the same not-found page as for a storefront that does not exist.

Choosing Hidden takes effect straight away. Nothing is deleted: your products, your past drops, your orders, your customers and your messages stay exactly where they are, and the Kitchen app keeps working normally for you and your team.

Put it back online

Choose Live on the same screen and confirm: buyers can immediately find your storefront again and place orders on any live drops.

Going live is held to the same requirements a new storefront meets before its first drop, so if the card is disabled the line underneath it names the next thing to do.

Close your storefront for good

Settings → Account & profile ends with a Danger zone and one action: Delete account.

It does not delete anything on the spot. It files a deletion request for your account, your storefront and all of its data, and an operator reviews the request before anything is removed. Until it is approved, your account and your storefront stay exactly as they are — you keep signing in, and you can carry on trading.

Once a request is approved there is no recovery: every drop, order, message and your own sign-in go with it. While a request is waiting, the danger zone says so and the action cannot be filed a second time.

If your storefront has been deactivated

A deactivated storefront is a different thing from a hidden one: it is closed by Pantryk, not by you. Signing in lands you on a Storefront deactivated screen with one way out — Sign out — and a support address to write to.

Your menu, your past orders and your customer records are safely retained. Buyers who already hold a tracking link for an order they placed can still read it, so nobody is left without their order. If you think the deactivation is a mistake, contact support from that screen: there is no way back into the app from there.
