Set-up checklist
The six steps Today checks for you: confirm your email, add items, add a pickup location, turn on payments, publish a drop, invite your team.

Where the checklist lives
On Today, the first screen Kitchen opens on. A new storefront meets Let’s get your kitchen ready there, with a count of the steps you have finished and the one you are on; the Ready to publish card in the sidebar shows the same numbers from wherever you are in the app.
Nothing here is a box you tick. Every step is checked by looking at your storefront: the step is done when the thing it names exists, and there is no way — or need — to tick one by hand. The checklist on Today retires itself the moment the three things publishing needs exist (below); the sidebar card stays until every step is done, and you can hide it for the session.
The six steps
Confirm your email
Open the link in the email we sent when you signed up. Your storefront stays hidden until you do, so this is the one step that gates everything public. If the email never arrived, Resend email on the step sends it again.
Only the address the storefront was created with counts. A team member confirming their own invitation does not put your storefront online.
Add your items
Build your catalog in Catalog: the products you sell, with their prices, their allergen flags and the categories you want them grouped under. A drop’s menu is picked from this list, so the drop cannot come first.
Add a pickup location
In Settings → Storefront → Pickup locations, name the place buyers collect from and say where it is. You need at least one active location before you can publish, and if you have several, one of them is the primary — listed first, for you and for your buyers.
Turn on payments
Pay at pickup or card payments — either one is enough for this step. Pay at pickup needs no setup: the buyer reserves a slot, pays you at the counter however you already take money, and you mark the order paid in Kitchen. Card payments mean connecting Stripe from Earnings & Money → Payments.
Publish your first drop
From Drops, pick the menu with its units, set the pickup window, and publish. If your seat cannot publish drops, the step says so and asks you to hand it to a team member who can.
Invite your team
In Settings → Team & roles, invite the people who help you, so they see the orders and the prep lists. This step only appears for a seat that can manage the team.
What publishing actually needs
Only three of the six: items in your catalog, one active pickup location, and the published drop itself. A saved draft does not count.
Payments and team invitations sit outside that list on purpose — pay at pickup is on by default, so going live never waits on a payment provider, and a storefront run by one person is a complete storefront.
